Teaching will focus on the B/C button accordion and the playing of Irish music on the instrument. Fingering, scales, bellows control, ornamentation and the learning of tunes will be discussed and worked on. John can cater to all levels. Bring along a recording device.
Concertina lessons will focus on the Anglo C/G 30 button concertina, the playing of scales and beginner/ intermediate tunes will be taught. There will be an emphasis on phrasing and proper use of notes. A recording device will be helpful.
